After the recent postal strike we have reviewed our payment methods. The most effecient method would be to use our paperless vouchers. Some reasons to use this method are:
A FREE benefit for Parents and their Employers The Government, as an incentive to help mothers go back to work after maternity leave, initiated the Childcare Voucher Scheme. As from April 2006 the Government have made some changes to the Childcare Voucher Scheme.A total of £243.00 per month (maximum voucher value) is free of tax and National Insurance for employees using Childcare Vouchers as part of their salary to pay for Childcare. Breakfast club Who is NOT eligible? Relative – a parent, grand parents, aunt or uncle, brother or sister (whether blood, half-blood, marriage or affinity), and includes step-parents. How the scheme works: • The parent speaks to their Payroll/HR Department of the Company and requests to join this scheme. Alternatively, Westminster Voucher Company could send a letter to the employer direct stating that an employee has contacted us. • The Payroll/HR Department contacts Westminster Voucher Company and the scheme is set up. • The parent requests that part of their salary is to be paid in the form of a Childcare Voucher. • Westminster Voucher Company sends the Childcare Voucher directly to the parent who then passes this to the Nursery as way of payment. • The Nursery posts the voucher & calim form back to Westminster Voucher Company to redeem. • The Nursery receives payment from Westminster Company. Westminster Voucher Company will pay, by BACS, the face value of the voucher directly into the Carer's bank account. This normally takes two to three working days from us receiving the voucher(s). Please keep a record of the voucher number that is being redeemed. We will email or post a remittance advice once payment has been made. What do we do to be eligible to accept vouchers? Simply complete a Redemption Agreement and return it in the FREEPOST envelope provided. (This form is sent with the initial voucher). Alternatively you can download the form from this website. If you are registered with OFSTED please send us a copy of your registration certificate or equivalent authority for Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. You can then start receiving Vouchers immediately. Once registered with Westminster Vouchers you will receive claim forms and pre-paid envelopes.
